2011
Underwriting Service Awards 2011
LV= were short listed as finalists in three categories:
- Commercial Combined (Smaller Risks) Underwriting Team of the Year
- Commercial Motor Underwriting Team of the Year
- Commercial Property Underwriting Team of the Year
The Underwriting Service Awards are about rewarding excellence and achievement in general insurance underwriting. They're entirely voted for brokers, so we we're really proud to have been nominated by our brokers.
The 2011 Claims Awards
LV= Financial Crime Team were awarded ‘Fraud Award’ with our innovation of the year for ‘Getting CUEter with Fraud’.
Post Magazine in association with The Claims Awards promotes the best practice in general insurance claims in the UK. This year the Claims Awards ceremony was held at the Grand Connaught rooms in London.
Claims Innovation Awards 2011
The Claims Innovation Awards were held at the Hilton hotel in Manchester to celebrate innovation, promote quality, and champion the highest standards of business excellence.
LV= Claims Team were awarded with Technology Award for our MOJ (Ministry of Justice) Claims Platform for innovation.
The British Insurance Awards 2011
LV= have been short listed as finalists for three awards, the categories include: Customer Care Award, Underwriter of the year and General Insurer of the year.
2010
Underwriting Service Awards
LV= were awarded Commercial Property Underwriting Team of the Year Award at the Underwriting Service Awards.
We were also short listed as finalists for Commercial Motor Underwriting Team of the Year.
Voted for by brokers The Underwriting Service Awards reward excellence and achievement in general insurance underwriting. Brokers rated our winning team highly for its "all-round efficiency, motivations and enthusiasm for developing relationships; and importantly its willingness to listen and understand each risk on it's own merits, whatever its size."

LV= were short listed as finalists for Claims Initiative of the Year for our commercial claims.
Insurance Times
In the 14 October 2010 edition of Insurance Times, brokers voted LV= Top 10 for best service given in commercial lines.
British Insurance Awards
LV=, in partnership with Acturis, were short-listed as finalists for the
E-Business Award.
2009
Insurance 360
LV= were voted best for small package and recommended for commercial property and commercial combined by UK commercial brokers. Overall we were voted 6th best commercial insurer.
Insurance Times
Brokers voted LV= Top 10 for best service given to commercial brokers.
2008
Insurance Times
ABC Insurance, part of our LV= Broker division, won the 'new entrant award' at the Insurance Times awards.
The judges were impressed with their rapid growth, enthusiasm and passion and having established ABC Insurance as a key player within the broker market in such a short space of time.
