LV= Broker appoints Tom Maughan as Senior Underwriter

LV= Broker today announces that it has appointed Tom Maughan as a senior underwriter for its Bournemouth branch. The Bournemouth branch looks after brokers in Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

Tom has over ten years experience in commercial insurance and has been appointed to develop commercial lines business with a number of key brokers. Before joining LV= Broker, Tom was a trading underwriter at Aviva where he was responsible for developing new business. Tom will report to Tim Griffiths, Bournemouth branch manager.

Commenting on his appointment, Tim said: "Tom has extensive local knowledge and long standing relationships with brokers in the South. We’re delighted that he has joined and believe he will be a great asset to the team."

Tom added: "This is a very exciting time to join LV= Broker as it continues to grow its business in the South. I am looking forward to building on the success that the LV= Broker team in Bournemouth has already achieved."
